It is a big mistake to think that it is "the mechanization" namely labor saving.

We think "the mechanization" to be be a means to offer a work by the good-quality skill with more people. therefore we aim at the reproduction of the manual skill of the practiced craftsman in the mechanization.

生産工程を「機械化」するということについて、長い間、工程における省力化、より短時間での量産化という方向からばかりとらえられてきたきらいがあります。
しかし、私たちは、より多くの消費者に、良質の技能に拠る製品を提供する、そのための「機械化」であると考えています。そのため、私たちは、いかに省力化するかではなく、熟練の技能職の手業を、いかに再現するかということに重点を置き、機械の改良、開発を重ねてきました。

私たちは、１本１本の糸を手で染め上げるのと同じ品質を提供するために、機械の改良を重ねてきました。

We think that they breathe in the same way as us.
That is why we maintain them to talk with each machine.
In fact, the machine which should consist of the same part does not do the same movement entirely. Each machine changes movement into each every day (it is the careful change that it is hard to find to the person who does not get used).

私たちは、あえて工場を無人化しませんでした。私たちは、それぞれの機械類は、あくまでも技能職の手業を補助する存在だと考えていますからです。

しかし、彼らがは，私たちにとって大切なパートナーであることも事実です。私たちは、彼らもまた私たちと同じように呼吸していると考えています。それ故、私たちは、それぞれの機械と対話するように、彼らをメンテナンスしています。
事実、同じ部品で構成されているはずの機械も、すべてが同じ動きをするわけではありません。それぞれの機械は日々それぞれに動きを変えます（見慣れていない方には見つけにくい細かい変化ですが）。もちろん、調子の善し悪しもあります。

All machines are controlled by a computer. It is standard in contemporary industry. However, we think that it has been lost by such situation becoming standard. We think that we do not want to lose the manufacturing that is human.

For example, like Yuuzen-some, there was the Japanese traditional dyeing with the flow of a calm river.　Until about 1960's, we were able to look after the craftsmen who washed cloth after having dyed it in a river even in Tokyo.
It depends on such a reason that we used the design of the surface of a river for a trademark.
We want to work in conformity with Japanese traditional dyeing technology.

In addition, a feeling this design expresses the calm of Setonaikai Sea, and to be proud of our hometown Imazari is symbolized.

日本の伝統的な染色は、おだやかな川の流れとともにありました。１９６０年代頃までは、東京でさえ、私たちは、川で、布を洗いにかける職人たちの姿を見つけることができました。
私たちが、トレードマークに、川面の意匠を用いたのも、そうした理由によるものです。私たちは日本の伝統的な
染色技術に則って仕事をしていきたいと考えています。

また、この意匠は瀬戸内のおだやかな凪を表しているものでもあります。
これには、私たちの、故郷「今治」を思う気持ちが象徴されています。
